Kool-Aid Days Legacy Scholarship

The Kool-Aid Days Festival celebrates community, creativity, and the entrepreneurial spirit that started right here in Hastings — home of the original Kool-Aid invention! In keeping with that tradition, the Kool-Aid Days Committee is proud to offer the Kool-Aid Days Legacy Scholarship, designed to support students who embody innovation, leadership, and community pride. This scholarship recognizes students who are pursuing a degree in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field at a college or university in Nebraska. Through this award, we hope to invest in the next generation of dreamers and doers who, like Kool-Aid’s creator Edwin Perkins, turn big ideas into reality.
- Twelve (12) scholarships of $250 will be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic year.
- Funds will be paid directly to the recipients’ college or university.
Applicants Must:
Be a current Nebraska high school senior or college student enrolled (or planning to enroll) at an accredited Nebraska college or university. Pursue a major or career path related to business, entrepreneurship, or marketing. Demonstrate involvement in community, leadership, or volunteer activities.
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
